Titanique: A Campy Celebration of Cline Dion and Titanic
The acclaimed off-Broadway sensation Titanique is set to make its Broadway debut at the St. James Theatre. This humorous homage to the iconic film Titanic, narrated by the legendary Cline Dion and featuring her beloved songs, will commence performances on March 26, 2026, with an official opening on April 12. Marla Mindelle will reprise her role as Cline Dion, a character she first portrayed off-Broadway.
Originally launched in June 2022 at the Asylum Theater, Titanique quickly gained popularity, leading to multiple sold-out extensions and a transfer to the Daryl Roth Theatre. The production has enjoyed international success, with performances in cities such as Montral, London, Sydney, and Paris.
Directed by Tye Blue and choreographed by Ellenore Scott, Titanique combines elements of comedy and musical theater, celebrating both the film's narrative and Cline Dion's musical legacy. The show features classic hits like "My Heart Will Go On" and "Beauty and the Beast." Titanique will run for a limited 16-week engagement on Broadway, with further casting details to be announced.
